NET COACHING FOR SC/ST/OBC/MINORITIES STUDENTS
Langat Singh College, Muzaffarpur (established on 3rd July, 1899) is a premier institution of B. R. A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. Starting as an affiliated college of Calcutta University, the college was declared Government college in 1915 and later became a constituent unit of B. R. A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. This institution has the distinction of having names like Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Acharya J. B. Kriplani and Mahendra Pratap among many others as faculty members of different departments. The college strictly conforms to the government policy of 50% reservation for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC and Minorities.
218 Research Scholars registered for Ph. D degree are carrying their research projects under the teachers of this college in different subjects. The NET/SET Coaching has hugely benefited them as they happen to learn the research methodology and other related aspects in a better way.
It is pertinent to mention that after the commencement of NET/SET coaching many students belonging to above categories are getting better opportunity for qualifying NET/SET examinations. It improves the academic skill of the students of various subjects also strengthens their knowledge, skills and moral values.
More than 20 students have competed in NET and CSIR examinations. The college administration is taking special care for improvement and better functioning of NET/SET Coaching.
